Job Overview:

As a person responsible for their organization, this person is responsible for formulating and executing policies related to the formulation and direction of production plans, and control activities to ensure seamless manufacturing operations, managing the progress of production processes using ERP or MES, and managing production-management master data such as for MRP, production lead times, and ST.

Job Roles & responsibilities:

1. Production Planning / Management :

• Handles the formulation and management of process progression plans.

• Preparation of small schedule planning

• Develop monthly and annual production plans for multiple factories across the business with dependencies on other processes/units to include resource planning and monitoring and reporting on performance against the plan.

• Provide input to the overall production planning framework and systems.

• Create monthly small schedule plans according to the delivery dates of higher-level production plans and orders.

• Monitor and adjust production plans as needed to address changes in Sales Demand and production constraints.

• Ensures efficient resource utilization to meet production targets and timely deliveries, working closely with various departments including sales, Production.

• Assist in planning the operating budget for all areas of accountability.

2. Inventory management, parts delivery confirmation:

• Manage and recommend improvements to the delivery of a major part of the organization's inventory control program to identify any issues and solve problems.

• In accordance with the production plan, he will check the delivery date and delivery status of parts and take measures against missing parts.

• Track raw material inventory levels and initiate timely procurement actions to avoid stockouts.

• Monitor work-in-progress (WIP) levels and identify bottlenecks in the production process.

3. Coordination with internal and external sources:

• Establishes effective communication with various groups such as customers, sales offices, corporate and plan production departments to ensure.

• Coordinate closely with manufacturing teams to ensure smooth production flow.

• Collaborate with procurement to secure necessary materials and components on time.

• Communicate production plans and updates to relevant HODs.

• Maintain effective communication with external relevant parties.

4. Creation of parts serving instructions and parts distribution lists:

• In accordance with the small schedule plan, will give instructions on the delivery and distribution of parts in time for the assembly plan.

• Create a serving list for each model type and give instructions to the Store team.

5. Assembly and packing work instructions:

• Provide step-by-step instructions for assembling components, ensuring clarity and precision.

• Include checkpoints for quality assurance at various stages of assembly. Instructions to create, issue and implement work orders.

• Product packing work instructions. Gives instructions based on product completion and shipping plans.

• Outline the inspection process to ensure packages are correctly packed and labeled including guidelines for storing and handling packed items before shipment.

6. Product completion processing:

• Handle the books of the completed product and instruct it to be received in the warehouse.

• Perform quality control checks to verify that the product meets all specifications and standards.

• Ensure proper handling procedures are followed to avoid damage and coordinate with logistics partners to arrange for the shipment of the product.

7. Management of production-management master data:

• Formulates policies for the management of production -management master data, such as MRP, production lead times, and ST.

• Analyze production data to identify areas for improvement and cost reduction.

• Works on maintaining and developing network systems which allows access to the plants manufacturing systems to streamline information and generate relevant reports.

• Must have worked previously in production, planning, manufacturing, and engineering fields.

• Ability to communicate globally with relevant staffs in Japan, the United States, and China.

• Should be prepared for any future relocation plans once the company’s business expands and company decides a permanent establishment.

Qualification:

• B.Tech/B.E. in relevant specialized field

• Post Graduate Diploma in relevant field

• Relevant project management and planning certifications
