Responsibilities:

Responsibilities include:

  • Develop corporate and project financial models and analysis to support decision-making and business planning
  • Partner with company leadership to develop and update annual budgets and the company’s five-year financial forecast (three-statement financial model and supporting schedules)
  • Evaluate corporate investment and M&A opportunities
  • Assist with the development of investor marketing materials and investor engagement in future capital market activities
  • Prepare monthly and quarterly financial management reports for corporate leadership and the board of directors. Reporting includes:
    • Income statement, balance sheet, and statement of cash flows
    • Debt and lease schedules
    • Capex schedules
    • Labor distribution & resourcing
    • Cash flow forecasting
    • Debt covenant reporting
       

Basic Qualifications:

  • Strong financial modeling skills, including deep familiarity of corporate accounting
  • Bachelor’s degree (finance, accounting, economics background preferred but not required)
  • Minimum of 5 years in investment banking, corporate finance consulting, or in-house FP&A
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint. Familiarity with other financial software and data visualization platforms is a plus
  • Organized and articulate presentation skills with attention to detail
  • Analytical and data-driven approach to problem solving
  • Collegial and communicative approach to getting things done in a fast-moving work environment
  • Financial modeling experience (financial three statements)

 

 

Preferred Skills and Experience:

  • U.S. Government contract, and aerospace & defense industry, experience
  • Experience with multiple entity reporting structures 
  • Corporate consolidations 
  • M&A activity
  • MBA or CFA valued but not required 

 

Additional Information

  • This position is a hybrid role, though the candidate is expected to be in the office at least three days a week
    Periodic travel may be required

As required by the Equal Pay Transparency Act, Epirus provides a reasonable range of minimum compensation for roles that may be hired. Actual compensation is influenced by a wide array of factors including but not limited to skill set, level of experience, and specific office location. 
For the state of California only, the range of starting pay for this role is:
$128,750$160,000 USD
