We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Account Executive to drive new business growth and expand our customer base. In this role, you will be responsible for identifying and engaging prospective clients, managing the sales pipeline, and closing deals that align with our strategic goals. You will work closely with commercial leadership to refine sales strategies, enhance client engagement, and contribute to Sightline’s overall success.
The Role
Generate new business opportunities through targeted outreach, networking, and market research
Develop and maintain a deep understanding of our products, services, and the energy transition industry
Manage and nurture a pipeline of prospective clients, from initial contact and qualification to close
Conduct presentations and product demonstrations to potential clients
Collaborate commercial leadership to develop effective sales strategies and materials
Achieve and exceed quarterly sales targets
Provide feedback to the product development and research teams based on client interactions and market trends
Maintain accurate and up-to-date records in the company’s CRM system
The Essentials
5 years of experience in full cycle business development or sales, with a track record of exceeding targets
A proven track record of prospecting and pipeline generation
Bachelor's Degree
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
Demonstrated ability to think strategically and analytically
A Plus
Experience selling market intelligence, business intelligence, or data-driven solutions
Familiarity with energy transition, climate tech, or related industries
