Responsibilities / Tasks

Promotes organization services and products to customers. Responsible for installing,

configuring, calibrating and provide life cycle maintenance of GEA machine and

equipments.

 

  • Work focus on installing, configuring, calibrating and repair technical machine and equipment at customer field/plant location.
  • Plans, schedule and perform preventative maintenance and technical support on installed machine and equipments.
  • Troubleshooting, diagnosing, and resolving malfunctions of machine and equipments with minimal downtime to production
  • Respond to unscheduled service calls especially during emergency calls i.e. shutdown
  • Communicates effectively with customers and resolves outstanding issues, obtain feedbacks, and ensure proper site/account
  • control.
  • Document, keep record and carry out diagnosis of faults, the maintenance, and repairs to all types of plant and equipment in a
  • safe, timely and professional manner and return equipment to operational service
  • Identify and escalate any activity that has the potential to cause harm or damage
  • Report breakdown root causes, equipment faults and concerns to Management
  • Support Service Sales in determining when products should be upgraded or replaced
  • Provide on-site training for customer support personnel
  • Manage incident resolution and Service Level Agreement (SLA) compliance management.
  • Work cross functional to resolve outstanding issues.
  • Provides technical training and guidance to less experienced team members.
  • Provide technical advice and consultancy support to another department.
  • Looks for opportunities to gain additional business from existing customers and establish relationships with new customers.
  • Serves as primary contact for GEA machine and equipments for small and medium customer issues.
  • Sets positive example by following and enforcing company policy.
  • Cooperates with country organization strategies and standardization protocols and guidelines.
  • Promotes teamwork, maintains a positive attitude, and supports the concept of one face to our customers.
  • Other task that maybe assigned by the Management.

Your Profile / Qualifications

  • College Graduate or Vocational Technical Course
  • Professional accreditation with an industry related body would be advantageous
  • Broad knowledge and technical skill in Industrial Heating & Refrigeration Technologies
  • Mechanical, electrical, electronic background with a working knowledge of the other disciplines
  • Commercial understanding of the impact of failure/downtime on production and ultimately customer delivery
  • English & local language
  • With strong analytical mind, problem solving aptitude, High Technical aptitude.
  • With driving License
