Job Description
Responsibilities / Tasks
Promotes organization services and products to customers. Responsible for installing,
configuring, calibrating and provide life cycle maintenance of GEA machine and
equipments.
- Work focus on installing, configuring, calibrating and repair technical machine and equipment at customer field/plant location.
- Plans, schedule and perform preventative maintenance and technical support on installed machine and equipments.
- Troubleshooting, diagnosing, and resolving malfunctions of machine and equipments with minimal downtime to production
- Respond to unscheduled service calls especially during emergency calls i.e. shutdown
- Communicates effectively with customers and resolves outstanding issues, obtain feedbacks, and ensure proper site/account
- control.
- Document, keep record and carry out diagnosis of faults, the maintenance, and repairs to all types of plant and equipment in a
- safe, timely and professional manner and return equipment to operational service
- Identify and escalate any activity that has the potential to cause harm or damage
- Report breakdown root causes, equipment faults and concerns to Management
- Support Service Sales in determining when products should be upgraded or replaced
- Provide on-site training for customer support personnel
- Manage incident resolution and Service Level Agreement (SLA) compliance management.
- Work cross functional to resolve outstanding issues.
- Provides technical training and guidance to less experienced team members.
- Provide technical advice and consultancy support to another department.
- Looks for opportunities to gain additional business from existing customers and establish relationships with new customers.
- Serves as primary contact for GEA machine and equipments for small and medium customer issues.
- Sets positive example by following and enforcing company policy.
- Cooperates with country organization strategies and standardization protocols and guidelines.
- Promotes teamwork, maintains a positive attitude, and supports the concept of one face to our customers.
- Other task that maybe assigned by the Management.
Your Profile / Qualifications
- College Graduate or Vocational Technical Course
- Professional accreditation with an industry related body would be advantageous
- Broad knowledge and technical skill in Industrial Heating & Refrigeration Technologies
- Mechanical, electrical, electronic background with a working knowledge of the other disciplines
- Commercial understanding of the impact of failure/downtime on production and ultimately customer delivery
- English & local language
- With strong analytical mind, problem solving aptitude, High Technical aptitude.
- With driving License
