We are currently seeking a Sr. Material Flow Engineer. The Sr. Material Flow Engineer will be responsible for the material flow processes and storage systems to establish efficient material delivery to the factory and sub-assembly lines. The Sr. Material Flow Engineer will create and implement tools and monitor efficiencies, working collaboratively across teams and departments.

Role & Responsibilities:
- Design & Optimization: Develop efficient material flow processes and storage systems to ensure smooth material delivery to the factory and sub-assembly lines.
- Collaboration: Work closely with material handling equipment designers, logistics teams, warehouse staff, manufacturing, and production planning to align on operational requirements and optimize material flow systems.
- Efficiency & Cost Reduction: Implement auditing tools to measure process efficiency, identify bottlenecks, and drive cost-saving initiatives in both the factory and warehouse.
- Cross-functional Engagement: Lead material flow design discussions, spearhead material storage projects, and drive continuous improvement efforts across teams.
- Project Ownership: Manage and communicate process improvement opportunities and implementation strategies across all relevant levels and functions in the factory and warehouse.

Qualifications & Experience:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree (B.S./B.Tech.) in Industrial Engineering or a related field.
- Industry Experience: 8+ years in the automotive industry with a strong understanding of supply chain systems and processes (mandatory).
- Engineering Experience: Minimum 4+ years in Material Flow Engineering (mandatory). Proven experience designing material flow systems for Semi Knocked Down (SKD) and Completely Built Unit (CBU) programs.
- Greenfield Project Experience: Background in setting up material flow systems in an automotive OEM or Tier 1 environment.
- Technical Skills:
- Proficiency in time and motion studies, lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, and change management.
- Advanced MS Office skills (especially Excel) and AutoCAD expertise.
- Experience with material flow simulation software (FlexSim or equivalent) preferred.
- Soft Skills: Strong critical thinking, communication, and problem-solving abilities with a high level of autonomy. Must be adaptable, detail-oriented, and thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
- Leadership: Experience in project management and/or team leadership is a plus.
