We are currently seeking a Power Electronics Senior Technician. The level will depend on the candidate’s experience. Our ideal candidate exhibits a can-do attitude and approaches his or her work with vigor and determination. Candidates will be expected to demonstrate excellence in their respective fields, to possess the ability to learn quickly, and to strive for perfection within a fast-paced environment.



The Role:

  • Demonstrate expertise in building mechanical assemblies
  • Support the failure analysis/root cause analysis for failed units and components
  • Wiring of high voltage cables, coolant lines, and low voltage cables to test stations
  • Rework PCBAs and support prototype builds
  • Troubleshoot potential set-up errors
  • Support test setup and test execution for power electronics
  • Prepare harnesses and connectors according to engineers’ requirements
  • Keep the lab organized according to 5S methodology
  • Be part of a team to develop amazing electronics products

 

 

Qualifications:

  • Advanced knowledge of electrical circuits and components
  • Strong high-voltage experience background
  • Strong understanding of HV and LV wiring and ability to read schematics
  • Strong mechanical skills
  • PCBA rework capabilities
  • Hands-on mentality
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Ability to be flexible and responsive
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Good understanding on how to work safely and efficiently in the lab

 

 

Preferred:

  • Strong understanding and experience with various lab equipment e.g. e-loads, battery simulators, grid simulators, etc.
  • Over 5 years of experience as technician
  • Background in automotive Test and Validation
  • NI LabVIEW Software Tool & NI Hardware’s knowledge

Compensation Range: The compensation range for this position is specific to the locations listed below and is the range Lucid reasonably and in good faith expects to pay for the position taking into account the wide variety of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions, including job-related knowledge; skillset; experience, education and training; certifications; and other relevant business and organizational factors.
 
Additional Compensation and Benefits: Lucid offers a wide range of competitive benefits, including medical, dental, vision, life insurance, disability insurance, vacation, and 401k. The successful candidate may also be eligible to participate in Lucid’s equity program and/or a discretionary annual incentive program, subject to the rules governing such programs.  (Cash or equity incentive awards, if any, will depend on various factors, including, without limitation, individual and company performance.)
Base Pay Range (hourly)
$37$50 USD
