The Receiving Inspection Technician is responsible for inspecting the material received from suppliers to ensure it complies with the requirements established in its corresponding technical data sheet and drawing, meeting all safety and quality regulations/requirements.

Inspect material samples based on the receiving history card and the Engineering drawing.

Record inspection results data in the Receiving Inspection system.

Transfer and control non-conforming material.

Review the list of materials received from suppliers and identify them.

Identify materials that need to be inspected and those that are sent directly to the raw material warehouse.

Select the material samples to be inspected. Release or stop the material based on the inspection results.

Prepare shipments of non-conforming material to suppliers. Document the results of the inspection.

Perform MSA studies, attribute RR, variable RR, and MSA for destructive tests. Conduct layer audits as required.

Perform other activities assigned by management.

Participate in Continuous Improvement activities as required.

Monitor the expiration date of materials in the warehouse for proper disposal.
