Responsible for conducting technical tests and research and development experiments. Prepares, adjusts and repairs test equipment. Monitor, audit and provide guidance to troubleshooters and operators. Processes test runs and prepares records, graphs, and tables of the results for presentation to engineering to identify production problems or test new products. Provides assistance for test development

Manage test teams to carry out different product validation tests.
Follow up and comply with laboratory metrics, such as equipment downtime, parts pending analysis and tests pending to be performed.

Generate requisitions and track purchases for spare parts for laboratory equipment or tools.
Schedule temperature chambers for engineering tests.
Interpret test specifications to accept or reject test requests from internal or external customers.
Generate detailed reports of failure analysis made to guarantees of internal and external clients.
Generate general reports of failure analysis made to line rejections. Report probable failure mode, which could be material, process, design, customer abuse or others.

Design or acquire necessary tools to carry out engineering tests and product development.
Monitor, audit and provide guidance to fault technicians, operators and engineers in performing tests.
Process test runs and prepare records, graphs, and tables of the results for presentation to engineering to identify production problems or test new products.
