Job Title: Senior Motor Controls Engineer
Job Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Motor Controls Engineer to join our team. This role involves designing, developing, and testing motor control algorithms for various motor types, including Brushless DC ( BLDC ) Motor, Permanent Magnet Synchronous Motor ( PMSM ) and Induction Motor. Our ideal candidate exhibits a can-do attitude and approaches his or her work with vigor and determination. The candidates will be expected to demonstrate excellence in their respective fields, to possess the ability to learn quickly and to strive for perfection within a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
· Develop clean, robust and elegantly partitioned model-based motor control software.
· Design the motor control software to support our functional safety and technical requirements.
· Develop software processes and tools to improve efficiency.
· Configure our MATLAB/Simulink environment to support quality and the conformance to our standards.
· Develop complex drivers for motor control applications in C.
· Invent and create new technologies and solutions
Minimum Qualifications:
· 3 years or more of experience in motor control algorithm development and testing.
· Advanced knowledge in MATLAB/Simulink.
· Strong understanding of BLDC Motor, PMSM and Induction Motor technologies.
· Knowledge of real-time operating systems, digital signal processing and digital control.
· In-depth knowledge of best practices for model-based code development for high reliability applications.
· Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
· Familiarity with development tools such as compilers and debuggers.
· Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
Preferred Qualifications:
· Experience in embedded software architecture and C programming.
· Experience of developing embedded software for high reliability applications.
· Experience in the automotive industry.
· Experience in Motor Controls/Motor Drives
· Experience with ISO-26262.
· An understanding of MAAB guidelines.
