Social Specialist– Red Sands BESS Projects – Groblershoop, Northern Cape

We are recruiting a Social Specialist to join the Red Sands - BESS Project close to Groblershoop. This 153MW/712MWh battery energy project includes the construction of battery platforms for a new Eskom Main Transformer Station, overhead lines and a Switching Station.

We are looking for an experienced Social Specialist who has worked on construction projects, preferably in energy storage. The Social Specialist will oversee and coordinate the community aspects, stakeholder relationships, local workforce recruitment, social document management, IPP reporting and auditing related to the development and construction of the Project and associated infrastructure in South Africa.
