We are seeking a highly skilled Carbon Data Analyst to manage and maintain large-scale environmental datasets that drive our strategic carbon product offer. In this role, you will be responsible for data integrity, quality assurance, processing, and reporting, ensuring accurate and actionable insights that support data-driven decision-making.

You will work closely with cross-functional teams to develop data pipelines, reporting frameworks, and analytical tools while upholding best practices in data governance and compliance. Your expertise in data analytics and environmental data application and analysis will be essential in developing our new product offer.

PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES

Data Management & Maintenance:

  • Collect, clean, and structure large datasets from various sources.
  • Ensure data integrity and accuracy by implementing quality control processes.
  • Maintain databases, troubleshoot inconsistencies, and optimize data pipelines.

Data Quality & Assurance:

  • Develop and implement data validation and reconciliation processes.
  • Identify anomalies, gaps, and inconsistencies in datasets and resolve them proactively.
  • Ensure adherence to data governance and compliance standards.

Reporting & Analysis:

  • Generate high-quality reports and dashboards to support business decision-making.
  • Perform exploratory data analysis (EDA) to identify trends, patterns, and insights.
  • Work with business teams to define key performance indicators (KPIs) and reporting metrics.

Collaboration & Stakeholder Engagement:

  • Work closely with data engineers, business analysts, and other teams to improve data processes.
  • Provide data-driven insights to product, strategy, and customer experience teams.
  • Support business development efforts with data-backed recommendations.
