We are now looking for a Senior Service Engineer to join our Field Service team. The position is permanent. The preferred location for the position is in İstanbul, Türkiye.

 

What will you be doing

 

As Field Senior Service Engineer, your work will focus on these responsibilities:

 

  • Perform Field Service activities according to the work plan.
  • Perform overhauls and repairs on assemblies on site and/or in workshops. Interact professionally with customers during the work's execution.
  • Perform internal and external progress status of the assigned work.
  • Create the Service Work Reports.
  • Ensure that the work is executed according to QSHE guidelines and site procedures and policies.
  • Follow-up and report on the status of work orders to customers and/or internal stakeholders.
  • Continuously seek solutions according to best practices.

 

To be successful in this role, we expect you to have:

 

  • Relevant technical education or qualifications as a combination of education as a combination of education and 5 years of experience.
  • Degree in Mechanical Engineering or Marine Engineering
  • Technical experience in marine engineering with practical problem-solving skills.
  • Proven experience in installation operation, maintenance, and repair.
  • Highly effective technical communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Experience in working with electrical systems is beneficial.
  • Good communication & teamwork skills
  • Fluent in English and Turkish, both written and verbal
  • Cost awareness & effectiveness
  • Deliver Solutions to Customers -processes & tools
  • Technical communication skills
  • Fluency in written & spoken English and proficiency in computer applications
