The ideal candidate will be responsible for supporting electrical engineering projects by performing a variety of tasks related to lab operations, equipment maintenance, testing, and data analysis. This position requires strong technical skills, hands-on experience with electrical testing equipment, and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.Responsibilities<ul style=""><li>Conduct electrical testing and performance evaluations of components, systems, and equipment.</li><li>Calibrate electrical instruments and ensure accuracy for testing procedures.</li><li>Maintain, set up, and operate lab test equipment such as oscilloscopes, multimeters, and power supplies.</li><li>Troubleshoot and resolve issues with electrical circuits and lab equipment.</li><li>Assist engineers in designing, building, and testing prototypes and circuit boards.</li><li>Solder, assemble, and wire components for various electrical projects.</li><li>Maintain accurate records of test procedures, results, and equipment calibration.</li><li>Prepare clear, concise technical reports detailing test results and solutions.</li><li>Collaborate with engineers during product development, testing, and optimization.</li><li>Ensure safety protocols and industry standards are followed in all testing activities.</li><li>Manage lab inventory, ordering necessary parts and supplies for experiments.</li><li>Stay current with new technologies and tools in electrical engineering.</li><li>Participate in training to improve technical expertise and skills.</li></ul>Qualifications<ul style=""><li>Associate's degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, or a related field (or equivalent experience).</li><li>5+ years experience as an Electrical Engineering Lab Technician or similar role.</li><li>Familiarity with electrical testing and measurement instruments.</li><li>Strong knowledge of circuit theory, electrical safety standards, and industry best practices.</li><li>Excellent troubleshooting, problem-solving, and analytical skills.</li><li>Ability to work well in a team and communicate effectively with engineers and other technical personnel.</li></ul>What Makes You Standout<ul style=""><li>Experience with CAD software for circuit design (e.g., Altium, Eagle).</li><li>Knowledge of embedded systems and microcontroller programming.</li><li>Experience with environmental testing (thermal, vibration, humidity) of electronic components.</li><li>Enjoys hands-on technical work and looking to contribute to innovative engineering projects in an exciting, fast-paced industry.</li></ul>
