Job Description – Lead Designer BIM, Water Infrastructure – International Team

We invite you to bring your knowledge of BIM in network design as you would create 2D drawings, 3D models, and Coordinated BIM models and shall be responsible for the technical quality of your own work as well as fellow CAD technicians. To succeed in this role, you must have a sound knowledge of design software’s like AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and Navisworks. You will join our Water department

As our new Lead Designer BIM – Water, you will be part of a global team of specialized water consultants supporting the development of sustainable societies. Lead Designer BIM, as a part of multi-disciplinary project teams, is responsible for providing drafting support, and technical expertise and would focus on compliance with project objectives and quality standards.

Your key tasks and responsibilities will be:

1. You will work on detailed drawings for a range of projects to create 2D drawing, 3D models and support other members of the drafting team in accomplishing complex tasks.
2. You will support in the creation of a BIM execution plan or CAD standard manual for the project.
3. You will need to coordinate with project managers and/or engineers for drafting work in a given project.
4. Mentor fellow CAD technicians on advancement in BIM authoring software and CAD standards.
5. Support Team Leader on standardization of CAD/BIM standards and nurture an environment of automation and development within the team.
6. Support in training/knowledge sharing with the team and cross-teams within the Water Department.
7. Is responsible for technical correctness and timely delivery of the drawings and documents.
8. Follow CAD/BIM standards of respective countries/projects and update them on a regular basis as per the experience of the project.
9. Exercise self-discipline and work ethics.
10. Respect and follow company policies and procedures.
