Founded in 2023 by lifelong geoscientists, ExploreTech is a venture-backed business that develops technology and uses it to explore for minerals all over the world.

About the role

ExploreTech’s geophysics team is like no other – our software is built to collect 10 years of data in a single season. In this role you’ll be responsible for building out the geophysics component; integrating software, hardware, and field operations into a single system. As the system becomes mature, you’ll take on a leadership role applying it to projects all over the world.

What you’ll do

●     Create the world’s most dynamic and effective geophysics team

●     Work with your hands to build integrated hardware/software systems

●     Develop and test technology in remote field sites

●     Build data processing pipelines using modern computing and machine learning

●     Execute on mineral exploration projects with a phenomenal team

About you

●     Masters or PhD in geophysics or equivalent professional experience

●     At least 2 years of field geophysics experience

●     Familiar with mineral exploration and mining

●     Bonus: Professional Geophysicist license

Location: San Diego, California (hybrid in-person/remote)

Salary: Starting at $130,000 plus equity
