This person will collaborate with regional and global resources to ensure optimal buying efficiency and support corporate objectives for the achievement of targeted profitability for our new projects. Responsibilities will Include:  <ul><li style="font-size:12pt;">Leads the purchasing of indirect and specialty areas.</li><li style="font-size:12pt;">Collaborates with internal teams to develop and implement strategies, and tactical and operational plans for the procurement of IT hardware and software.</li><li style="font-size:12pt;">Reviews and analyzes activities, costs, operations and forecast data to determine the company’s progress toward the stated goals of the project team, including business and financial goals and objectives.</li><li style="font-size:12pt;">Coordinates activities with suppliers and vendors entering into contracts, negotiating contracts and products, negotiating lines of credit, etc.</li><li style="font-size:12pt;">Makes and/or executes decisions on project purchases.</li><li style="font-size:12pt;">Oversees and coordinates development activities between suppliers and development teams to ensure overall sourcing and procurement is aligned with corporate directives.</li><li style="font-size:12pt;">Travels as required at company expense.</li></ul>Desired Qualifications:<ul><li style="font-size:12pt;">Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain, Logistics or Industrial Engineering preferred.</li><li style="font-size:12pt;">Engineering Background preferred.</li><li style="font-size:12pt;">3 to 5+ years in Supply Chain/Purchasing/Procurement preferred.</li><li style="font-size:12pt;">Strong analytical and Excel modeling skills.</li><li style="font-size:12pt;">Experience in indirect sourcing of IT categories.</li><li style="font-size:12pt;">Ability to work in fast fast-paced environment, actively prioritize and multitask.</li><li style="font-size:12pt;">Desire to learn and grow within the procurement function.</li><li style="font-size:12pt;">A passion for sustainability and making the world a better place! </li></ul><div>The position is full-time.
