THE ROLE

We are looking for a US Strategy & Planning Associate. In this role, you will own the demand forecasting and planning in the US and the Americas for existing and expansion locations. You will work closely with the US Director and Global leadership team to understand the size and firmness of the demand and build a forecasting model taking into account business constraints under certain scenarios. You will work closely with the Central Supply Chain team and communicate the demand needs of the US.

You will take on strategic projects and drive them end-to-end from problem identification to structured problem solving and providing recommendations


RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Center point for demand forecasting and planning in the US ensuring data accuracy and hygiene
  • Work with the US Director, functional leads and Sales Teams to understand and incorporate local market demand trends and requirements into the Global Sales & Operations Planning process
  • Actualise top-down growth targets into a demand plan working closely with the US Director and Head of Strategy
  • Build strategic demand planning models to determine how to best allocate resources by analytically assessing the needs of different cities
  • Build and manage key strategic projects from problem identification all the way to Senior Leadership suggestions and implementation. You will be solving some of the biggest problems in the region.
  • Use your business judgement to recommend critical trade-off decisions across various stakeholders
  • Act as the key interface between Central supply planning and regional demand forecasting

Requirements

WHAT WE LOOK FOR:

  • 2+ years of work experience with a preference for Management Consulting and/or Strategy & Operations planning experience and/or Demand Planning in an industry selling goods.
  • A strong bias for using data to support decision making and establish priorities/strategies; ability to interpret and translate data into actionable insights for a range of stakeholders.
  • Ability to execute multiple tasks at once and take initiative in a constantly changing work environment.
  • Exceptional communication and organisational skills, both within Zoomo and with external accounts. Able to communicate and listen effectively; great written and verbal communication skills.
