About the Position
The Operational Excellence / Health, Safety, and Environment (OE/HSE) Reporting Specialist is responsible for maintaining accurate enterprise and / or business unit data, delivering HSE metrics and reports for use by the business, monitoring data quality, and creating and maintaining PowerBI dashboards to facilitate enterprise and BU OE reporting. The OE/HSE Reporting Specialist reports to the OE Reporting & Digital Team Lead in Bengaluru, India.

Technical
Managing data from multiple sources and analyzing patterns to drive decision-making. Proficiency in Excel, including pivot tables and visualization, as well as fundamental PowerBI skills are required. Competency to understand and use the II&R Standard and OEDRS to perform their role is essential. Additionally, the ability to manage the incident and investigation workflows in the system accurately, validate the classification of incidents using the OEDRS, is crucial.
Leadership
Understanding and adhering to OE requirements specific to the role, following procedures, and ensuring necessary safeguards are in place. Demonstrating behavior aligned with the Client's way, challenging norms, and stopping work when unsafe conditions are present are imperative. Understanding reporting requirements for incidents, near misses, and potential noncompliance are also key components.
Align & Inspire
The ability to build consensus across multiple perspectives and effective communication skills are vital. Engaging with SMEs and leaders to align on ‘what good looks like’ and drive alignment in reporting outputs and continual improvement in data visualization across business units. Demonstrated competency in II&R and OEDRS, and a thorough understanding of safeguarding terminology and OEMS improvement analysis are also important.

Collaborating with both functional HSE and Technical agile teams to deliver results is essential. The ability to design solutions and deliver reports, charts, graphs, infographics and analyses iteratively is highly valued.

Advanced knowledge of PowerBI, Excel, and other analytical tools is necessary to understand the incident reporting and investigation dataset. The ability to take customer requests and deliver reports and analyses efficiently is essential. Technical curiosity and problem-solving skills are desired, along with the application of statistical methods to better understand aspects of OE performance.
