Reporting to the Superintendent Implementation Works this role will be a representative of CNPSA supporting SNN in the refurbishment of the Cernavoda Unit 1 KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES <ul><li>Support Project Mangers in the evaluation for acceptance of detailed solutions, technical specifications, implementation, and testing plans with respect to implementation and works execution</li><li>Provide oversight and verification of the complex implementation and testing plans for critical activities in the refurbishment project</li><li>Monitor and ensure that design and refurbishment activities are performed in accordance approved project schedule, budget, and relevant QA processes</li><li>Define and manage interfaces and scope between discipline-specific design areas to ensure that sufficient resources are allocated to each stage of project</li><li>Define and manage interfaces and scope between discipline-specific design areas</li><li>Provide design expertise and verify system-level design documentation</li><li>Provide assurance that design and manufacturing activities are performed in accordance with written and approved policy, standards, programs, and applicable procedures</li><li>Adhere to on-time/on-budget criteria associated with refurbishment commitments and success</li></ul>EDUCATION<ul><li>A Bachelor’s Degree (or higher) in Civil Engineering </li></ul> QUALIFICATIONS We are seeking a results-driven professional who has the following: <ul><li>Direct involvement in a CANDU Refurbishment Project/Organization</li><li> 10 years relevant experience, with a minimum of 5 years of experience working with CANDU Nuclear Power Plants</li><li>In depth knowledge of site outage/installation/maintenance of CANDU Nuclear Power Plants</li><li>Comprehensive understanding of CANDU technology and operations, with expertise in civil engineering</li><li>Demonstrated capability to manage and lead</li><li>Demonstrated ability to deliver high quality products under tight timelines and high pressure to support unit restart schedules</li><li>Excellent problem-solving skills and experience in leading technical projects to successful completion</li><li>A Professional Civil Engineer of Ontario (PEO) or eligible for PEO status with a passion for engineering</li><li>Experience in project management is an asset</li><li>Excellent communication skills, both written and oral, and have demonstrated a high commitment to quality</li><li>Strong attention to detail and to quality assurance requirements</li><li>Demonstrated ability to work in a multi-disciplinary team situation</li><li>Romanian Language proficiency would be beneficial, but is not a requirement</li></ul> WHY LAURENTIS ENERGY PARTNERS?
