This role offers an exciting opportunity within a dynamic, international, and positive work environment.How you'll make an impact:<ul><li>Act as a business partner to the Project Managers, Local Sales Managers, and Financial Controllers responsible for all financial and commercial matters and actively driving the project’s performance;</li><li>Prepares a Project Financial Execution Plan (as part of an overall Project Execution Plan covering all financial, commercial and tax aspects such as revenue recognition methods, billing plan, payment securities, GST and other indirect taxes, consortium administration, etc.);</li><li>Taking accountability and supports on project invoicing, manages currency risk, tax issues, bonds, and guarantees, financial accounting and reporting including project site accounting;</li><li>Drives and seeks for optimization of project cash flow, Revenues and GM contribution together with Financial Controllers and Project Managers as needed;</li><li>Organize monthly project reviews jointly with the Local Sales Managers and Project Managers. Reviews and has joint responsibility for all financial aspects of the project including estimate at completion and related cost-to-complete, forecasted Revenues and Cash Flow, Risks and Opportunities assessment and ensure alignment with other functions including Project Controls, planning/scheduling Commercial terms, and ensure that all required mitigation actions are timely implemented;</li><li>Promotes commercial awareness in the project team and provides commercial input to the project execution plan such as Terms &amp; Conditions in supply management, claims, and back-to-back conditions. Drives claim management, back-charges and insurance cases and monitors the proper follow up together with the Contract Manager/Project Manager upstream towards customers, and downstream towards suppliers;</li><li>Manage month-end closure activities and assist with budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis;</li><li>Ensure compliance and performance of local and global internal controls in a timely manner.  Regular review of internal controls to ensure applicability to business processes and implementing adjustments if required.  Participation in internal and external financial audits to provide the required documentation and explanations to ensure timely completion.</li></ul>Your Background:<ul><li>Degree in Finance, Accounting or Business Administration with MBA in Finance desirable;</li><li>1-3 years of Project Controlling experience;</li><li>Advanced level in spoken and written English;</li><li>Knowledge of IFRS and the latest accounting standards;</li><li>Strong working knowledge in SAP;</li><li>Proficiency in MS Office tools (Excel, PowerPoint, etc.); knowledge of Power BI is a plus;</li><li>Strong analytical and critical thinking skills with independent problem-solving capabilities.
