At any given time, multiple projects may be in progress and require attention. Responsibilities include: <ul><li>Synthesize discussions of current and upcoming work into timelines of activities </li><li>Continuously check in on active timelines to ensure accuracy and escalating deviations, as necessary </li><li>Use technical knowledge to ask probing questions of project engineers and fully understand the requirements of projects </li><li>Develop relationships with project engineers and adjusting exact project management techniques to best suit individual needs </li><li>Make recommendations for de-risking crucial tasks and/or parallelizing workstreams where possible </li><li>Communicate project status information through in-person meetings as well as digital reports </li><li>Read, understand, and comply with all workplace health and safety policies, safe work practices, and company policies and procedures </li><li>Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor </li></ul> What we need you to bring to the team:   <ul><li>Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering, chemical engineering, materials science, or related field of study </li><li>2+ years of project engineering or project management experience </li><li>Ability to capture and maintain a high volume of detailed information   </li><li>Basic knowledge of engineering design, concepts, principles, practices, and procedures   </li><li>Ability to work on problems of moderate scope, which are often varied and routine, where the analysis of situations or data requires a review of a variety of factors  </li><li>Ability to apply learned techniques and contributes to the analysis and investigation to solve problems  </li><li>Ability to work independently receives little instruction on day-to-day work   </li><li>Strong ability to build internal and external working relationships to solve mutual problems by collaborating on procedures  </li><li>Strong organizational skills   </li><li>Strong verbal and written communication skills   </li><li>Proficiency with, or ability to quickly learn, Microsoft Office suite of programs including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, OneDrive, and SharePoint.   </li></ul> What we want you to bring to the team:   <ul><li>Familiarity with Microsoft Project </li><li>Fundamental knowledge of project management methodologies, including critical path analysis </li><li>Experience managing projects with design, development, installation, and verification of technology hardware or chemical process systems and equipment. </li></ul> Compensation:   <ul><li>The anticipated starting pay range for this position is $85,000-$95,000 annually and may be more or less depending upon skills, experience, and education.  </li></ul> Benefits For You:  <ul><li>100% paid premiums across all medical, dental, vision, telemedicine, short-term disability, long-term disability, and basic life insurance plans </li><li>Reasonable use PTO </li><li>$1,800 in annual employer HSA contributions (health savings account) </li></ul> Benefits For Your Family:  <ul><li>100% paid premiums across all medical, dental, vision, and telemedicine plans </li><li>12 weeks of paid parental leave </li></ul> Benefits For Your Future:  <ul><li>401k with up to 5% matching contributions which vest 100% on day one  </li><li>Eligibility for incentive stock options </li></ul>
