The Role:

We're looking for an experienced operations analyst with proven success gathering, organizing and analyzing data for insights that drive business decisions across sales, supply, and operations.   As Sr. Operations Analyst, this person will establish high standards for data integrity and will fuel success across our sales and operations organizations, playing a key role in setting priorities, identifying opportunities, and measuring success of the group and the larger Full Harvest team.

 The ideal candidate will build and work with modern analytical and data manipulation tools as well as large sales and operations platforms.  They will also have a passion for the supply chain and using data to disrupt and improve results.  The position will report to the Vice President of Supply & Operations and play a large role in the growth of our network. You will join a friendly, driven and passionate team, determined to solve food waste.

What You’ll be Doing:

  • Support the development and growth of Full Harvest’s B2B produce marketplace
  • Maintain large sets of critical supply and operations data and metrics, analyzing and packaging that data per the requirements of the team, and building productivity tools and quantitative models to assist with driving improved performance
  • Work across disparate systems and teams to gather, organize, clean, and set high standards for data integrity and clarity.
  • Evangelize the use of data and prioritization with an intense focus on results
  • Develop and manage  tools and processes to increase team effectiveness
  • Assist with long-range logistic network planning, determining optimized distribution profiles and developing detailed operational plans for full truckload, LTL, and last mile/short haul delivery services
  • Develop quantitative models supporting various aspects of logistics, supply, and pricing strategies
  • Analyze/model various data. Organize and manage large datasets related to buyer, seller, distribution profiles, network planning and carrier service coverage
  • Use problem-solving skills to resolve data discrepancies, understand trade-offs associated with complex data relationships, interpret analytical results and react to unexpected events
  • Provide support for buyer, seller, and delivery partner negotiations by analyzing contract proposals and running various "what if" scenarios
  • Provide additional analyses and tasks as needed to help improve the accuracy, reliability and efficiency of Full Harvest Sales and Operations

Our Ideal Candidate Has:

  • 5+  years experience in supply chain and operations analytics, particularly in a high paced, high growth environment
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, supply chain, or related field
  • SQL and VBA experience is a must
  • Must be extremely analytical and quantitative and very comfortable building spreadsheet models
  • A high degree of comfort dealing with ambiguity and time pressure, including the ability to quickly develop recommendations and priorities where perfect data doesn’t exist
  • Very detail oriented, with strong organization skills and ability to maintain and keep track of multiple information sources
  • A quick learner who's not afraid to dive right in, adapt, and get results
  • Great communication and follow-up skills both in-person and while working remotely
  • Ability to travel nationwide to meet with partners, sellers, buyers, and other constituents
