Job Overview The Motor Control Engineer is responsible for the design of motor control algorithms, implementation of software on motor controllers, and performing lab testing to verify product and customer objectives are met by their development work. Electric machine types worked on include but are not limited to PMAC, Induction, and SynRM. This role involves using dynamic simulation tools for high performance motor controls algorithm research, while iterating results on real hardware to delight and satisfy customer expectations. This position will work closely with a cross-functional team, providing support to applications, validation, and hardware discipline team members, ensuring compliance with safety standards and company procedures. This position reports to the Director, Software &amp; Control Engineering.
