As a Formulation Engineer Home &amp; Fabric Care (m/f/d), you will develop and optimise silk protein formulations for specific consumer care applications such as cleaning, personal care and coatings.   We are seeking an innovative, results-driven and consumer-oriented Formulation Engineer/ Research Associate to focus on the development and optimization of silk protein formulations for dishwashing and laundry care products. You will be responsible for creating advanced protein formulations that enhance the performance, stability, and delivery of silk protein when combined with formulation agents. This role demands a strong understanding of dishwashing and laundry care consumer products as well as the ingredients and their role in detergents. Your responsibility and impact within AMSilk company means to: <ul><li>Heading up development of future silk protein formulations for dishwashing and laundry care products</li><li>Designing frame formulations and running proof of concept studies to show that enhanced silk protein properties result in consumer perceived benefits in laundry and dish detergents</li><li>Ensure smooth integration of silk protein formulations in production processes of formulators for dishwashing and laundry care products</li><li>Investigate interactions between silk proteins and other ingredients in detergents to ensure compatibility and efficacy</li><li>Use your innovative mindset to propose innovative solutions to address formulation challenges, including stability, processability, and end-use performance</li><li>Work closely with Application Engineering, Product Development and Biotech R&amp;D to ensure scalability and alignment with product goals</li><li>Ensure compliance with industry regulations (e.g., REACH, EPA, EU Ecolabel) and assist customers in meeting sustainability and regulatory requirements</li><li>Stay updated on the latest trends in sustainable performance materials in cleaning market</li><li>Stay updated on market trends, emerging technologies, and regulatory changes to help position the company’s ingredients competitively</li></ul> Your areas of knowledge and expertise are: <ul><li>Bachelor or Masters degree in Chemistry, Biotechnology or related fields</li><li>5+ years in development of dishwashing and laundry care products.
