Essential Duties/Principal Responsibilities:
· Facilitate projects across a wide range of teams, from senior leaders to operators, ensuring clear communication and alignment of objectives.
· Support efforts to standardize processes across various business units by developing, defining, and documenting processes and procedures for consistency and efficiency.
· Format, manipulate, and analyze data to create insightful dashboards for reporting purposes, enabling data-driven decision-making.
· Collaborate with team members to effectively communicate data insights and recommendations, fostering a data-centric culture.
· Create impactful presentations using data, reports, graphs, infographics, and other visual tools to present project impacts to corporate leadership, enhancing understanding and buy-in.
· Develop, define, and report key performance indicators (KPIs) relevant to business goals from identified projects, tracking progress and driving continuous improvement.
· Regularly present project updates to stakeholders and drive improvements to project execution based on evolving business needs.
· Act as a change agent, supporting business units with change management efforts to ensure successful implementation of technical and organizational changes, facilitating smooth transitions.
· Participate in Xylem Watermark volunteer activities, contributing to the company's social responsibility initiatives.
Minimum Qualifications: Education, Experience, Skills, Abilities, License/Certification:
· Educational Background: Bachelor's degree from an accredited university in Engineering, Business, Computer Science, or a related field.
· Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience in data analysis and project management. Experience with large, complex projects and a strong process orientation preferred.
· Relationship Building: Excellent skills in building relationships and the ability to work effectively in a team-oriented, collaborative environment.
· Cross-Functional Experience: Proven experience working in a cross-functional environment and facilitating interactions with multiple departments.
· Communication Skills: Clear, professional written and verbal communication skills.
· Attention to Detail: Strong attention to detail along with effective problem-solving, change management, and analytical skills.
· Customer Centricity: A customer-centric perspective with a transformational mindset.
· Pressure Management: Ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines, both individually and as a team member.
· Technical Proficiency: Proficiency with the Microsoft Office Suite is required.
· Technical Skills: Experience in developing reports in Power BI and knowledge in SQL is a plus.
· Continuous Improvement: Familiarity with Continuous Improvement tools, Value Stream Mapping, RACI, etc., is preferred.
· Salesforce: Proficiency or familiarity with Salesforce.com preferred.
