Role Purpose

LevelTen Energy is seeking an experienced market analytics professional to work within the organization to oversee analytics of the LevelTen’s Performance Monitoring suite and contribute to general energy modeling projects, as needed.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Support the buildout of the Performance Monitoring platform by understanding the value proposition provided by the platform and develop metrics and platform refinements to increase the overall value provided by the platform
• Work with other departments to develop, outline, and implement analytics refinements to the Performance Monitoring platform and other LevelTen platforms, as needed
• Create tools and automated processes to provide insight into specific market or platform outcomes to better understand performance of projects on LevelTen’s platforms
• Work collaboratively across the Product, Engineering, Customer Success, and Developer Services teams to deliver data solutions and standard products for customer needs and product development.
• Become a Subject Matter Expert for the analytics provided on the Performance Monitoring platform
• Work collaboratively across the Product, Engineering, Customer Success, and Developer Services teams to deliver data solutions and standard products for customer needs and product development.

Qualifications

• 2-4 years of experience in market analysis and analytics, preferably direct experience in renewable and electric power markets
• Experience in developing and support analytics in a production environment, ideally in a SaaS setting
• Analytical skills, focusing on extracting actionable insights from data
• Experience in ETL processes, QAQC, and data visualization
• Experience in Python, SQL, and Tableau is beneficial.
• Strong communications skills and the ability to message complex issues to a diverse audience.
• Degree in a quantitative field such as Computer Science, Mathematics, Economics, or similar.
• Interest in data science, advanced statistical analysis, and renewable/electric power markets.

Additional Details

This salaried, full-time position is preferably based in LevelTen Energy’s Seattle office, though other locations could be considered depending on circumstances.
