Role Purpose
LevelTen Energy is seeking an experienced data analytics professional to spearhead the management, quality assurance, and processing of its data sources.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Support data accuracy and verification in LevelTen’s global platform and analytics suite, including datasets such as electricity price forecasts, energy generation data, and project information, with a specific focus on LevelTen’s Performance Monitoring software.
- Maintain a thorough knowledge of VPPA financial settlement methodologies and contract specifications.
- Become Subject Matter Expert for data relating to operational renewable energy projects in customer portfolios, building a deep understanding of data sources, financial settlement, and invoice accuracy.
- Create data visualization tools and automated processes to identify trends, metrics, anomalies, and metadata of data sources.
- Work collaboratively across the Product, Engineering, Customer Success, and Developer Services teams to deliver data solutions and standard products for customer needs and product development.
- Lead QAQC of external and internal data and associated processes.
Qualifications
- 1-2 years of experience in data analytics, specific experience in ETL processes, QAQC, and data visualization is a plus.
- Financial skills, focusing on income statement analysis and financial modeling is required.
- Analytical skills, focusing on the efficient management of large data sets and the ability to deliver insights from them.
- Experience in Python, SQL, and Tableau is beneficial.
- Strong communications skills and the ability to message complex issues to a diverse audience.
- Degree in a quantitative field such as Computer Science, Mathematics, Economics, or similar.
- Interest in data science and advanced statistical analysis.
- Experience in renewable energy or electricity markets is a plus.
Additional Details
This salaried, full-time position is preferably based in LevelTen Energy’s Seattle office, though other locations could be considered depending on circumstances
