Streamline Innovations, Inc. is seeking a Mechanical Maintenance Technician. This role is responsible for performing installations, troubleshooting, repairing and maintaining operations facility equipment including pumps, valves, and other natural gas production equipment according to company standards and safety. The Mechanical Maintenance Technician will actively participate on daily maintenance activities.Duties<ul> <li>Comply with safety regulations and maintain clean and orderly operational equipment</li> <li>Interact with the CMMS system to record detailed repair and maintenance information</li> <li>Diagnose problems, replace parts, test and adjust mechanical systems</li> <li>Dismantle machine and remove parts for repair using hand tools, chain falls jacks, cranes or hoists</li> <li>Install, replace, or change machine parts and attachments, according to production specifications</li> <li>Collaborate with other workers to repair or move machines, machine parts, or equipment</li> <li>Ability to understand basic knowledge of compressors, blowers, pumps, valves, and other oil field equipment</li> <li>Transport machine parts, tools, equipment, and other material between work areas and warehouses</li> <li>Perform preventative maintenance according to manufacture's specifications</li> </ul>Competencies<ul> <li>Excellent organizational and communication skills</li> <li>Positive attitude and strong work ethic</li> <li>Proactive, recognize problems and improvements needed</li> <li>Work assignments carried out to the highest quality level</li> <li>Flexible and adaptable as a critical member of a growing organization</li> <li>Must be self-motivated and able to work independently</li> <li>Must show consistent professionalism and good judgment</li> <li>Team player</li> <li>Must be safety and environmentally conscious</li> <li>Must work well with all types of personalities</li> <li>Must be punctual and willing to work long hours if needed</li> </ul>Requirements<ul> <li>High School diploma or equivalent</li> <li>Relevant 2-year technical certificate or degree is a plus</li> <li>Minimum 1 year of experience in performing maintenance and troubleshooting in an oil and gas, manufacturing, or other production environment</li> <li>Natural gas industry experience is a plus</li> <li>Preferred experience with Goulds centrifugal pumps</li> <li>Demonstrated knowledge and experience in the design, installation, and troubleshooting of mechanical equipment</li> <li>Hands-on experience with the following equipment required:</li> <ul> <li>Control and solenoid valves</li> <li>Motors, pumps, compressors, and other standard equipment</li> </ul> <li>Ability to read and understand drawings, maintenance manuals, and PIDs</li> <li>Ability to work independently and with cross-functional teams of electrical technicians, operations personnel, engineers, and safety professionals required</li> <li>Able to pass drug, alcohol, driving, physical, and background check</li> <li>Must be able to push, pull, and lift 50lbs or more at a time</li> <li>Valid work authorization in the United States</li> </ul>Working ConditionsTravel as needed.Working conditions vary and include:<ul> <li>Field work covering Texas, New Mexico, and other remote locations</li> <li>Equipment fabrication shops and panel shops</li> </ul>Weather conditions may include:<ul> <li>Hot, cold, and/or inclement</li> <li>Dusty Conditions</li> </ul>Physical Requirements<ul> <li>Ability to work in various weather conditions</li> <li>Must be able to push, pull, and lift up to 50lbs or more at times</li> <li>Ability to stand, bend, and move for extended periods</li> </ul>Benefits<ul> <li>Hourly, Non-Exempt</li> <li>Insurance: Major medical, dental, and vision for employee and dependents</li> <li>Cellular Reimbursement - $100/month</li> <li>Company Credit Card</li> <li>Workman’s Compensation</li> <li>Short-Term, Long-Term Disability, and Life Insurance</li> <li>Hourly Paid Sick Leave</li> <li>Competitive Wages</li> <li>Opportunities for Overtime Hours</li> </ul>
