The position requires the individual to manage a team of Regional and Territory Sales Managers, as well as Independent Sales Representatives.  In addition, the District Sales Manager will also network with our customers, including distributor partners, contractors, engineers and end-users with the goal of developing long-term, trusting business relationships. Principal Responsibilities<ul><li>Manage and motivate the Regional Sales Managers, Territory Sales Managers, and Independent Sales Representatives by providing training and guidance on initiatives and customer/client interactions. </li><li>Establishes performance standards and short- and long-term goals and supports the achievement of those goals through effective oversight. </li><li>Strong collaboration with internal departments i.e. marketing, other sales groups, logistics, and operations to identify and mitigate issues, problems with swift resolution. </li><li>Identify, analyze, and present opportunities for growth in new products, existing products and initiate product improvements.</li></ul><ul><li>Monitor sales performance across the District, identify variances and coach Sales Personnel to achieve desired results. </li><li>Understand market dynamics across the District and have a detailed knowledge of market pricing for all Mechanical/Industrial/Plumbing products. </li><li>Ensure Sales Personnel implement relevant and effective territory planning practices that are consistent with the Aliaxis Business Model and our Sales Force Excellence objectives.</li><li>Monitor the volume and quality of the team’s face-to-face customer interactions and ensure the information is entered into CRM.</li><li>Conducts performance evaluations and succession planning to ensure availability of key talent and optimum team efficiency, including promotion, demotion, and salary recommendations.
