Staff Process Engineer - Manufacturing

The fabrication team is a dynamic part of Twelve’s technical team and is responsible for manufacturing the core component of our CO2 electrolyzer. The team works collaboratively to translate research ideas into functioning systems. 

Job Brief

Twelve’s Senior Process Engineer - Manufacturing is tasked with becoming the technical subject matter experts for our electrode manufacturing process. In this role, you will work to provide technical support for a team of engineers and technicians in the R&D and large-scale manufacturing of Twelve’s CO2 electrolyzer Membrane Electrode Assemblies (MEAs). Quality control and attention to detail are key to our success and forward progress.

What you will do

• Provide support to manufacturing team on fabrication tool settings, parts, operation
• Liaise between R&D project teams and fabrication team in implementing fabrication requests from experimental designs
• Troubleshoot machine issues and implement solutions
• Train and mentor manufacturing technicians and engineers on new processes and tools
• Rapidly analyze measurement data for process and characterization parameters 
• Communicate findings to the team in a standard report format
• Maintain and manage good record keeping and communication platforms

• You have great ability to communicate effectively within the team and across a large technical team

• You have a Bachelor's degree or higher in a STEM field
• You have experience working in a manufacturing setting as a process or manufacturing engineer
• You have high attention to detail and strong organizational skills
