The role 🏄‍

We're looking for our second engineer hire to help own full development of the product, and engineering direction, and work side-by-side with our founding engineer and co-founder/CPO to collaboratively develop and implement the product roadmap.

Responsibilities

• Work with us as the second eng hire to collaboratively develop and implement the product roadmap.
• Lead agile, one-week iterative sprint cycles
• Work directly with the co-founder/CP and founding engineer to build new features
• Build a fast, beautiful, and intuitive app experience

Qualifications

• 3+ years experience as a full-stack engineer; bonus points for a previous startup that shipped products that involved iterative development
• Ruby on Rails, SQL, GraphQL, TypeScript, and React Native skills
• Broad skill set: propensity to detail, self-starter, creative problem solver, collaborative while self-directed
• Oversaw different stages of product development: coding, testing, bug fixing, post-launch testing, and support
• Experience in agile product development. Able to manage iterative sprint cycles, accurate costing, and partnership with design and product management
• Strong product acumen and the ability to work creatively with the product lead
• Strong communication skills and comfortable working in a remote environment
• Plugged into the developer ecosystem—keeps a pulse on the latest and greatest tech
• Passion for building cool things
• Nice-to-haves:
