Job Summary

We are looking for a Recruiting Lead (Sales & Operations) to help build our Bird team and accelerate our growth. This individual will report to our Head of Global Recruiting and will be responsible for managing a full requisition load as well as managing a small team. This role will have a focus on our Sales, Government Partnerships & Operations organizations in North America. The ideal candidate will be excited about the opportunity to help develop the team and ensure their success in supporting these functions while also being directly involved in filling key roles at all levels. We are looking for someone who is excited about the opportunity to touch all aspects of the recruiting process as well as the opportunity to improve upon our recruiting strategy, making sure that candidates have a uniquely positive experience from first introduction all the way through to their on-boarding.

Responsibilities

  • Manage and direct a small team of recruiters focused on supporting the government partnerships, sales and operations organizations
  • Successfully partner with business leaders to understand the business needs and hire qualified talent to fill their roles
  • Help develop, implement and execute recruiting programs and strategies to fill current openings and help build a healthy pipeline of qualified candidates
  • Source, recruit, and hire professionals across a variety of roles throughout the Bird organization with a heavy focus on exempt level roles.
  • Own full-cycle recruitment which encompasses sourcing, interviewing and closing candidates
  • Help create and manage basic requisition reporting for the groups in which you support

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field
  • At least 5-7 years of full cycle recruiting experience with the last 1-2 years of management experience
  • Ability to partner and influence stakeholders at all levels, including executives, to drive hiring goals and program outcomes
  • Successfully deliver on all deadlines and flawlessly execute in a very fast-paced environment
  • Positive attitude and the ability to multi-task and follow up with a sense of urgency.
  • Strong verbal and written communication
  • Proficiency with ATS and other related platforms (Greenhouse, LinkedIn Recruiter highly preferred)
