This role is critical in structuring and securing project financing, managing investor relationships, and ensuring financial viability across multiple renewable energy projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in project finance, renewable energy investments, and financial modeling, with a proven track record of closing complex financial transactions.</p><p><span style="font-size:12pt;"><strong>Responsibilities </strong></span></p><ul><li>Lead the financing strategy for solar and green energy projects, including debt, tax equity, and other investment structures.</li><li>Develop and execute financial models to support project valuation, risk assessment, and funding decisions.</li><li>Structure project finance deals, including power purchase agreements (PPAs), tax equity investments, and loan agreements.</li><li>Negotiate and secure financing from banks, private investors, and institutional lenders.</li><li>Develop and maintain relationships with banks, investment funds, private equity firms, and other financial institutions.</li><li>Lead due diligence efforts and coordinate with legal, engineering, and development teams to support project execution.</li><li>Represent the company in financing discussions, investor meetings, and industry conferences.</li><li>Conduct financial analysis on potential and ongoing projects to ensure profitability and risk mitigation.</li><li>Monitor financial performance metrics, market trends, and industry regulations that impact project financing.</li><li>Work with internal teams to optimize project costs, pricing structures, and financing mechanisms.</li></ul><h2><span style="font-size:12pt;"><strong>Qualifications &amp; Experience</strong></span></h2><ul><li>Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, Economics, or a related field. MBA or CFA preferred.</li><li>10+ years of experience in project finance, investment banking, or financial structuring, with a focus on renewable energy.</li><li>Proven track record of successfully closing financing deals for solar, wind, or other renewable energy projects.</li><li>Strong understanding of tax equity financing, debt structuring, and PPA negotiations.</li><li>Proficiency in financial modeling, risk assessment, and investment analysis.</li><li>Knowledge of federal and state renewable energy incentives, regulatory policies, and market dynamics.</li><li>Excellent negotiation, communication, and leadership skills.</li></ul><h2><span style="font-size:12pt;"><strong>Preferred Qualifications</strong></span></h2><ul><li>Experience working with Independent Power Producers (IPPs) or Renewable Energy Developers.</li><li>Understanding of tax equity structures such as ITC (Investment Tax Credit) and PTC (Production Tax Credit).</li><li>Familiarity with green bonds, ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance) financing, and impact investing.</li><li>Experience working with international renewable energy projects (if applicable).</li></ul><p> </p><div><div><div><p>Base pay is one part of our total compensation package at Gotion, and is determined within a range.
