Job Description

Resonant Link accelerates electrification by Powering Fleets While They Work, integrating our fast wireless chargers into the stops that already exist during fleet operation (think pick stations for robots or loading docks for forklifts). Our world-class team has quadrupled in less than a year to power mission-critical applications for multiple Fortune 500 companies and government agencies.

As our Program Manager of Public Financing and Grants, you will map our internal roadmap to funding opportunities, build relationships with leaders at key grant-making organizations, and win and lead execution and delivery of grants. These are complex, multi-disciplinary projects that will require close collaboration with engineering and product owners. You will ensure projects are well-planned, executed efficiently, and delivered with high quality to deliver world-class wireless charging for our partners.

On an average day, you’ll…

  • Assess funding opportunities at the federal, state and local government levels while building and updating a strategic plan that maps grant opportunities to our internal roadmap and objectives.
  • Build relationships with program managers at grant-making organizations.
  • Own content, writing, and visuals for grant applications, associated presentations, and grant reporting.
  • Work closely with engineering, product, and operations stakeholders to drive project planning and execution of complex wireless power grants and other opportunities.
    • Manage and track project information, including key documents, scope of work, milestones, promised delivery targets, and dates.
    • Perform higher-level project reporting, tracking metrics across to inform staffing and resource allocation and reporting requirements.
    • Identify operations risks and unknowns, and define and drive resolution plans.
  • Manage cross-team dependencies, communications, and blocking issues, including communicating with suppliers and customers as needed in order to meet targets.
  • Drive a culture of collaboration, ownership, and accountability with our values at heart: Deliver on Every Promise and Together Is Better.

The team you will be joining:

We are critically reliant on our team members’ ownership, creativity, technical rigor, and collaboration to deliver on our first-of-their-kind power electronics that will change the future of transportation. Our team includes engineers with PhDs from Berkeley, Dartmouth, ETH Zurich, Michigan, and Stanford and business & technical experience at Tesla, Apple, Dynapower, iRobot, Lambda School, and Harvard Medical School.

Requirements

  • Previous experience as an engineer or project manager or grant writer.
  • Hands-on experience planning, managing, and/or leading long-term (>1 year) projects.
  • Experience writing grants or technical requirements documents.
  • Familiarity with engineering terminology and prior experience with hardware development is preferred.
  • Working in one of our hubs (Burlington, VT; Boston; San Francisco Bay Area) is preferred, but the position is open to remote. If remote, up to 20% travel OR at least once per quarter in a hub is required.
  • Must have up-to-date vaccinations for COVID-19 and use a mask while on-site (mask requirement subject to change as the COVID-19 pandemic evolves).

Who we’re looking for:

  • You are meticulous about hitting project targets and love finding ways to get the job done!
  • You have excellent verbal and written communication skills plus strength in technical documentation and language.
  • You are extremely organized and have strong attention to detail.
  • You’re able to influence cross-functional teams without formal authority.
  • You’re motivated by the energy, pace, and problem-solving opportunities that come with working at a high growth startup.
  • You have a passion for technical challenges at the intersection of scientific innovation and product development.
  • You are driven by accountability and goals, and are eager to inspire your team with your ideas.
  • You’re an empathetic, collaborative, respectful, and honest team member - you know moving forward together is always better!

Benefits

  • Paid holidays (including a week off at new year) and an unlimited vacation policy
  • The flexibility to work anywhere and a home office stipend for fully remote employees
  • Fully covered medical, dental, and vision benefits for employees

  • Generous paid parental and family leave
  • Learning/career development investment in your professional and personal growth including hiring outside mentors, professional development courses, and more
  • Company outings & team retreats (post-pandemic!)
