Our world-class team has quadrupled in less than a year to power mission-critical applications for multiple Fortune 500 companies and government agencies, including many of the leaders in active implantables.

As our first Sales and Business Development hire in Medical Devices, you will identify new business opportunities, connect with potential customers, build relationships with partners and OEMs, and drive these product-defining deals to close with our OEM partners. You have the opportunity to hyperscale our existing business in medical devices, making Resonant Link's wireless recharging technology a foundational piece for the next generation of active implantable devices.

On an average day, you’ll…

  • Manage, run, and drive the pipeline of potential customers for our breakthrough wireless charging product set, including Fortune 500 OEM leaders in active implantable devices.
  • Assess new opportunities in medical devices, and help the leadership team determine the strategy for our medical segment.
  • Connect with leaders in customer and partner target companies to understand their power and energy needs.
  • Drive multi-million-dollar deals from conception through close, integrating Resonant Link's wireless charging technology into the next generation of active implantables across patient indications.
  • Manage cross-team dependencies, communications, and blocking issues, including communicating with our engineering team and customers to meet targets.
  • Drive a culture of collaboration, ownership, and accountability with our values at heart: Deliver on Every Promise and Together Is Better.

The team you will be joining:

We are critically reliant on our team members’ ownership, creativity, technical rigor, and collaboration to deliver on our first-of-their-kind power electronics that will change the future of transportation. Our team includes engineers with PhDs from Berkeley, Dartmouth, ETH Zurich, Michigan, and Stanford and business & technical experience at Tesla, Apple, Dynapower, iRobot, Lambda School, and Harvard Medical School.

Requirements

  • Previous experience selling components and/or active implantable devices, with a preference for applicants that understand the medical device value chain and have existing relationships with OEM leaders.
  • Familiarity with electrical engineering terminology is preferred.
  • Working in one of our hubs (Burlington, VT; Boston; San Francisco Bay Area) is preferred, but the position is open to fully remote. 20-40% travel is associated with the position, primarily to customer sites.
  • Must have up-to-date vaccinations for COVID-19 and use a mask while on-site (mask requirement subject to change as the COVID-19 pandemic evolves).

Who we’re looking for:

  • You love understanding customer needs and driving deals to close.
  • You build long-term relationships with customers and partners in an environment of trust and mutual collaboration.
  • You are organized and systematic in driving a high-value Sales pipeline.
  • You have excellent verbal and written communication skills plus strength in technical documentation and language.
  • You are extremely organized and have strong attention to detail.
  • You’re motivated by the energy, pace, and problem-solving opportunities that come with working at a high growth startup.
  • You’re an empathetic, collaborative, respectful, and honest team member - you know moving forward together is always better!

Benefits

  • Competitive salary, generous stock options, and massive upside through target-based commissions
  • Paid holidays (including a week off at new year) and an unlimited vacation policy
  • The flexibility to work anywhere and a home office stipend for fully remote employees
  • Fully covered medical, dental, and vision benefits for employees
  • 401(k) retirement benefit
  • Generous paid parental and family leave
  • Learning/career development investment in your professional and personal growth including hiring outside mentors, professional development courses, and more
  • Company outings & team retreats (post-pandemic!)
