Contract Recruiter for Renewable Energy Mentorship Program

Role Purpose:

Accelerating the transition to a clean energy economy is one of the most important challenges of our lifetime. Unfortunately, not every community has equal access to the mentorship, training, and network relationships that so often open doors. Together, LevelTen Energy and EnergyGPS are taking on the shared mission to bring more talented and diverse young professionals into the renewable energy industry by launching the Energy Scholars Mentorship Program. The Energy Scholars program is a paid summer internship and mentorship program designed to equip dedicated and capable freshman and sophomore college scholars with the skills required to secure (and excel in) well-paid jobs in the renewable energy industry.

We are looking for an experienced contract recruiter who can contribute to our Energy Scholars program. In this role, you will be responsible for all of our recruiting efforts, managing the end-to-end recruitment process. This position will run through the end of May 2022.

Responsibilities:

• Source candidates for the summer program according to a set of STEM criteria
• Develop relationships with colleges to promote the program
• Screen candidates by reviewing resumes, and performing phone screenings
• Design and manage job descriptions and postings
• Manage the interview, selection, and closing process for each candidate
• Manage the new hire process
• Ensure adherence to all employment laws and regulations

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field
• 2 years of recruiting experience preferred
• Demonstrated ability to establish effective and professional working relationships
• Excellent communication, organizational and time management skills
• Working knowledge of applicant tracking systems
• Working knowledge of interview techniques and applicant screening methods
