ABOUT THE ROLE:

We have an exciting opportunity for a dynamic and strategically-minded Recruiting Coordinator to join our growing People Operations Team. You will be one of the first people that candidate's interested in Sofar speak with and this role is an integral part in supporting our organization as a whole. The Recruiting Coordinator will work closely with our Recruiting Partner as you help schedule interviews, build requisitions in collaboration with hiring managers, and onboard new team members. You will excel in an “all hands on deck” environment, solve for strategic business challenges, and thrive in a startup culture. This is a full-time role based in San Francisco. 

Here is what you will be doing:

  • Working closely with our Recruiting Partner and internal hiring teams to ensure we attract the best talent
  • Act as the main point of contact for candidates coming through the interview process
  • Actively manage interview scheduling using Greenhouse's built in tool
  • Ensure candidates and managers are kept up to date of any necessary scheduling changes during the interview process
  • Consistently check in with both candidates and managers to ensure nothing is missed or lost in the process

  • Experience with the hiring or recruiting process in a fast-moving environment 
  • Experience working with hiring tools such as Greenhouse
  • Experience managing multiple projects as well as the people and schedules associated with those projects
  • Strong attention to detail, ensuring calendars are up to date, communication is professional, and partners feel supported throughout the process
  • Interest in talent acquisition and organizational development as a long-term career
  • A keen eye for identifying areas of improvement and are proactive about driving towards a solution
  • A track record of personal accountability, strong work ethic, integrity, and proven organizational skills
  • Strong communication skills via email and phone
  • A love for the ocean!
