<h1>What we're looking for</h1>We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Business Development Representative (BDR) to join our growing sales team. The BDR will play a critical role in driving pipeline growth by identifying, engaging, and qualifying prospective clients.<h1>Responsibilities</h1><ul><li>Generate leads by researching, identifying, and qualifying potential organizations would benefit from Visia’s software</li><li>Conduct outbound prospecting via cold calls, emails, and LinkedIn to generate new leads</li><li>Set up meetings and product demonstrations for the sales team with decision-makers and key stakeholders</li><li>Leverage technology and AI-enabled tools to streamline GTM workflows, automate processes, and drive data accuracy</li><li>Travel to conferences, trade shows, on-sites, and relevant meetings; busy weeks may have 3 or more days on the road</li><li>Maintain accurate records of outreach, conversations, and progress in HubSpot CRM.</li><li>Collaborate with GTM to refine messaging, campaigns, and outreach strategies</li><li>Stay up to date on initiatives, trends, and industry regulations within the waste and recycling industry</li><li>Develop and execute strategic territory plans to identify new prospects and maximise opportunities</li><li>Update and manage all sales activities, opportunities, and account information in the CRM</li><li>Collaborate with other members in the team and with senior leadership</li><li>Consistently achieve monthly quota of qualified opportunities</li></ul><h1>Qualifications</h1><ul><li>1-3 years of experience in sales, business development, or lead generation</li><li>Ambitious and creative, excited by a fast-paced, goal-oriented environment</li><li>Articulate, charismatic and confident in a customer-facing role; strong communication and interpersonal skills</li><li>Must be able to create and deploy automated email, LinkedIn, and other outbound campaigns</li><li>Experience with outbound prospecting and lead qualification techniques</li><li>Proficiency with CRM systems and lead management tools (specifically Hubspot and Apollo)</li><li>Strong knowledge of sales processes, pipeline management, and automation</li><li>Strong analytical skills and ability to leverage data to inform marketing decisions.
