To further enhance our capabilities, we require a versatile individual who can contribute in multiple areas. As a small, agile, and cohesive team, we value candidates who exhibit initiative, adaptability, and the capacity to handle a broad range of tasks to sustain the program's momentum.</p><h2>Responsibilities</h2><ul> <li>Manage CI/CD infrastructure.</li> <li>Maintain and improve cloud infrastructure for large multi-vehicle parallel simulations.</li> <li>Manage separation of export controlled software from monorepo.</li> <li>Maintain security best practices in DevOps processes and tools.</li> <li>Help evaluating new technologies to promote our core tooling.</li> <li>Promote best practices and collaborate with developer teams to establish best practices for how to use our cloud services.</li></ul><h2>Required</h2><ul> <li>3+ years of experience in software engineering.</li> <li>Proficiency in C++, Python, and Git.</li> <li>Experience managing CI/CD infrastructure.</li> <li>Experience maintaining CI/CD pipelines.</li> <li>Experience with one of the “Big Three” cloud providers (AWS, GCP, Azure).</li> <li>Experience with Infrastructure as a Code (e.g. Terraform, Pulumi).</li> <li><strong>This position must meet US export control compliance requirements, therefore a candidate must qualify as a “US Person” as defined by 22 C.F.R. § 120.15. “US Person” includes US Citizens, lawful permanent residents, refugees, or asylees.</strong></li></ul><h2>Desired</h2><ul> <li>Aerospace related work experience.</li> <li>High proficiency with Bazel</li> <li>Expertise in AWS.</li></ul><p> </p><p>Compensation at Joby is a combination of base pay and Restricted Stock Units (RSUs). The target base pay for this position is $113,700 - $186,800/yr.
