Job DescriptionLead BIM Designer as a senior member of the modelling team, is expected to coordinate with project managers, engineers, and other technicians for technical delivery of wide range of engineering drawings for projects of varying complexity.  Principal technician would be key drivers for technical quality of the work and compliance with project objectives and quality standards.Responsibilities:<ul><li>BIM Implementation: Lead the implementation of BIM processes and standards within the design team and across project stakeholders.</li><li>Collaboration: Facilitate collaboration among architects, engineers, contractors, and other project team members using BIM, ensuring seamless information exchange.</li><li>Model Development: Oversee the development of detailed 3D models using BIM software, ensuring they accurately represent the design intent and comply with industry standards.</li><li>Data Management: Manage and organize the vast amount of data associated with the BIM model, ensuring that it is accurate, up-to-date, and accessible to all relevant parties.</li><li>Clash Detection: Utilize clash detection tools within BIM software to identify and resolve conflicts in the design before construction, reducing the likelihood of rework and cost overruns.</li><li>Documentation: Generate construction documentation directly from the BIM model, ensuring consistency and accuracy in drawings and specifications.</li><li>Quality Control: Implement quality control processes to review BIM models for accuracy, completeness, and compliance with project requirements.</li><li>Training and Support: Provide training and support to team members on BIM tools and processes, fostering a collaborative and efficient working environment.</li><li>Innovation: Stay abreast of industry trends and advancements in BIM technology, exploring innovative ways to enhance the design and construction process.</li><li>BIM Execution Plan : Review, negotiate with lead architects and client and implement to suit MEP services</li><li>Mentor - Provides guidance and knowledge to juniors and works towards competence enhancement of another technician within the team.</li><li>Will coordinate with project managers and/or engineers for drafting work in each project.</li><li>Is responsible for technical correctness and timely delivery of the drawings and documents in his projects.</li><li>Understanding of all aspects governing operational &amp; up to date knowledge of the latest technological advancements, regulations/guidelines &amp;statutory compliances in the industry.</li><li>Effective resource planning/optimization with a focus on waste reduction, enhancing productivity &amp; profitability; ability to use sound decision-making skills to effectively perform in a self-directed environment.</li><li>Possessing valuable insights, keen analysis team approach to implement best practices, adept at working in high-pressure environments with strict deadlines &amp;multiple deliverables.</li><li>Technical expertise in Revit MEP (BIM software), AutoCAD MEP, Navisworks, AutoCAD &amp; familiar with BIM/CAD Standards, ASHRAE, ISHRAE, ACAD – (2004 to 2012), Navisworks &amp; Revit MEP 2009 to 2023.3D,4D Drawings.</li><li>BIM MODELING, Coordination and Preparation BOQ.</li><li>Will assist the project team towards developing/implementing drafting/modelling standards.</li><li>Would assist in even distribution of work within the BIM team.</li><li>Will assist in improving the efficiency and productivity of the BIM team.</li><li>Communicates the training and development needs to his supervisor.</li><li>Exercises self-discipline and work ethics</li><li>Respect and follow company policies and procedures.</li></ul> <ul></ul>
