You will support our R&amp;D, Manufacturing and Facilities teams, guiding complex specialized electrical projects for our electrical systems installations.</p><p><span>You will</span> work onsite at our San Jose, CA office reporting into the Director of Test Engineering. </p><p><strong>Primary Responsibilities:</strong></p><ul><li>Collaborate with Facilities and EH&amp;S teams to implement electrical system installations and sustainability programs</li><li>Resolve electrical failures and repairs to ensure system functionality</li><li>Support lock-out/tag-out (LOTO) program for equipment implementation</li><li>Follow local building and electrical code guidelines to install and modify circuitry</li><li>Troubleshoot and repair base building and equipment for optimized system performance</li><li>Conduct root-cause analysis to identify and address underlying issues</li><li>Create as-built drawings and upkeep facility record drawings</li><li>Replace lighting lamps, ballasts, receptacles, and fuses</li><li>Operate forklifts and working aerial platforms</li></ul><p><strong>Qualifications:</strong></p><ul><li>Certified Electrician in the State of California</li><li><span>6+ years of experience</span> with R&amp;D electrical systems in a manufacturing environment, including high-tech equipment and complex circuitry</li><li>Proficiency with electrical testing and diagnostic tools</li><li>Base building systems experience such as: electrical, mechanical, plumbing, fire protection systems, and codes</li><li>Familiar with facilities management maintenance methods, operating requirements, and safety precautions</li><li>Knowledge of NFPA-70, NFPA-70B and NFPA-70E</li><li>Knowledge of health and safety standards and industry codes such as: OSHA, EPA, DEP, and ADA</li><li>Understanding of local and state electrical codes and regulations including: NEC, UL and R&amp;D </li><li>Proficiency operating PC applications such as: Smartsheet, Jira, and Monday</li><li>Experience with CMMS software such as: UpKeep, Maximo, and 360</li></ul><p>#LI-Onsite</p><p><strong>Compensation and Benefits l S5</strong></p><div><div><div>San Carlos Zone</div><div><span>$55</span><span>—</span><span>$73.60 USD</span></div></div></div><div><p>Actual base salary offered to the hired applicant will be determined based on their work location, level, qualifications, job-related skills, as well as relevant education or training and experience.​</p><p>Base salary is just one part of Electric Hydrogen’s total rewards package.
