From reading blueprints to closing out work orders, you’ll be part of a team that values precision, safety, and pride in every weld.YOUR IMPACT<ul><li>Weld components and subassemblies using proper welding processes and specifications using GMAW-P processes.</li><li>Interpret weld and assembly blueprints with accuracy.</li><li>Prepare and complete all required documentation, including work order closures in MRP.</li><li>Perform tack welding and full welding across a variety of assemblies.</li><li>Conduct self-inspections to ensure quality and compliance with standards.</li><li>Identify, track and help resolve issues during the assembly process.</li><li>Support training efforts by assisting new team members as needed.</li></ul>MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS<ul><li>Current weld certification and ability to pass a weld test to assess skills (Vertical-Up T-Joint welds, Flat V-Groove welds, various 14-gauge welds, etc.).</li><li>Ability to read and comprehend work instructions and blueprints.</li><li>Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide using whole numbers, fractions and decimals.</li><li>Ability to read a tape measure to 1/16”.</li><li>Basic computer literacy.</li><li>Ability to pass pre-employment background check, drug test, and hearing test.</li></ul>STANDOUT QUALIFICATIONS<ul><li>Prior welding experience or completion of a certified welding program.</li><li>Familiarity with Styleine, TeamCenter or similar systems.</li><li>Ability to obtain forklift or crane certifications.</li></ul>WHAT TO EXPECTOur welders work in a dynamic, hands-on environment that requires standing, lifting and regular movement throughout their shift. You’ll work with a variety of parts, tools and machinery to assemble and finish high quality airport systems. This role required lifting up to 35lbs and involves physical activity such as standing, reaching and crouching throughout the day.
