SUMMARY

Nexamp is seeking a Finance Analyst to join the team. This position will report to the Finance Manager and will be responsible for assisting with budgeting, forecasting, treasury, strategic planning, and other ad hoc projects. This individual will have the opportunity for future growth and development amongst a group of high achieving and fun professionals. We are seeking a driven, dedicated, and enthusiastic professional to join our dynamic team.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Responsible for the execution and performance of various finance activities, including, but not limited to:

  • Assist in creating and maintaining the annual corporate budget and quarterly forecasts
  • Participate in cash management, reporting, and planning
  • Aggregate data and help analyze results of financial models to aid business unit partners and improve overall company performance
  • Monitor and report on key performance indicators for business units and corporate
  • Work cross-functionally to understand and manage company reporting data
  • Identify and drive process improvements, including the creation of standard and ad-hoc reports, tools, and dashboards
  • Identify and monitor significant business trends and variances, including in revenue, expenses, headcount, capital, balance sheet, and cash flow items
  • Ad-hoc projects as requested by management

QUALIFICATIONS

Ideal candidate must be enthusiastic, self-motivated, results-oriented, and operate well in a collaborative, team environment. The ideal candidate should be prepared for increased responsibilities as they relate to the role and in a rapidly growing company. Qualifications include:

  • 1+ years of experience in a finance, audit, consulting, or related role
  • Strong understanding of financial statements and financial models
  • Robust analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to communicate effectively with executive management and all departments across the organization
  • Strict attention to detail and strong Microsoft Excel skills
  • Willing and able to adapt to a high energy, fast paced environment
  • Passion for renewable energy and conservation a plus
