THE ROLE

We are looking for a Software Engineer specialised in .Net & cloud services with 5+ years of experience to work with us on multiple projects varying from complex websites to web applications. We require someone who can adapt to various technologies and be able to research and come up with solutions independently in an agile environment.

We know you have many facets to your lives, so we are flexible on working hours, we will work with you to determine ideal conditions. We want you to be self-driven and enjoy working with us. We are driven by passion not process, process comes from a desire to get quality.

Requirements


ESSENTIAL SKILLS, EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS:


  • 5+ years of experience in .NET (C#, MVC, WebAPI, Entity Framework)
  • 3+ Experience in SQL Server
  • 2+ Experience in Angular
  • HTML5, CSS3, Typescript
  • Experience working with RESTful APIs and JSON
  • Source Version Control (GIT)
  • Azure (AppService, Functions, Cosmos DB, CI/CD pipelines) or similar services within AWS
  • Understands the importance of high-quality code through non-negotiable’s like unit tests, clean code, code reviews, reducing framework dependencies, etc.
  • Experience in building secure enterprise scalable applications that can handle high traffic and support rate limits
  • Provide accurate estimates for the development effort for new and existing features
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Experience working directly with internal product management, UX, and data analytics in a highly collaborative team to create products that customers love
  • Bachelor or higher degree, or its equivalent, in Computer Science, Information Technology, Information Systems Management or similar

DESIRABLE

  • Experience/understanding of web security (OWASP TOP10 etc.)
  • Experience with event streaming technologies, service bus or message queues (Azure Event Hubs/Triggers or similar within AWS)
  • Experience with microservice architecture
  • Experience with payment gateways or subscription billing systems
  • Experience with AWS/Azure/Google IoT platform technologies
  • Experience with Google BigQuery data ingestion/transformations
