THE ROLE

Zoomo's business in Australia is growing rapidly with the aim to triple in size in 2022. That's why we are looking for an assistant accountant to help senior financial accountants and finance controller.

Our team is made up of mad geniuses that know how to have fun. You’ll be working closely with bubble tea enthusiasts, pet lovers, surf addicts and table tennis champions. Your responsibilities will include

• Daily bank reconciliations for all the Zoomo legal entities
• Managing inter-company reconciliations
• Assist in credit card reconciliations
• Assisting with other month end closing tasks including reconciliations of accounts, processing journals and adjustments and reporting
• Maintenance of fixed assets register
• Ad hoc duties relevant to the role as required

Requirements

• Minimum 1 year’s experience in a similar role
• Tertiary qualification in Finance or Accounting
• Commenced CPA/CA or looking to commence
• You are looking forward to a challenge, and gaining some invaluable problems solving experience at a start-up that is in a high-growth phase
• Demonstrated ability to work with computer-based systems and adapt quickly to new systems
• You have outstanding written and verbal communication skills
• Strong attention to detail
