We need to HEAT, VENTILATE, and AIR CONDITION our buildings 24/7. Most of the energy consumed in a building is for our comfort, but 50% of it is wasted! This is because buildings have little to no technology to control this.Parity is a Remote HVAC Optimization as a Service company. We remotely control and optimize HVAC systems 24/7/365 to deliver automatic energy savings and revenue to multifamily residential buildings and hotels. Using advanced algorithms, Parity can predict the amount of energy needed ahead of time to operate a building to meet its occupants' demands and adapt the building's systems and machinery in real time. We save our customers:<ol><li>Time - we automate setpoint adjustments and demand response protocols. Our Pi (Parity Insights) dashboard provides early alerting services when things go down.</li><li>Money - Parity contractually guarantees the savings that we expect to deliver to our multifamily customers. We also provide quarterly and annual energy savings reports.</li><li>CO2 Emissions - we reduce a building’s emissions by optimizing its HVAC systems and reducing energy waste.</li></ol>&nbsp;THE ROLE:We are looking for an energetic and motivated Senior Account Manager ready to expand their sales career at the intersection of the property technology space and the quickly growing energy management industry.&nbsp; This individual will be focused on leading Parity’s growth in the hospitality sector.&nbsp; The primary objective will be to increase the company’s footprint with large hotels in the NYC metro area market. This individual will be presenting Parity at all levels of the sales process and will be responsible for conducting key sales activities including; prospecting, origination, proposal generation, customer facing presentation, and deal closing. We are looking for an individual who is excited to work in tech, real-estate, and has a passion for reducing CO2 emissions.&nbsp;RESPONSIBILITIES:<ul><li>Selling a guaranteed savings solution with a no upfront cost option for real estate operators to manage their energy consumption, reduce their carbon footprint, generate grid services revenue, maintain occupant comfort, and limit negative exposure to building performance standards and other energy-related local regulations.</li><li>Managing the sales process from start to finish</li><li>Maintaining a deep understanding of relevant energy and real estate related policies, programs, and market conditions in the NYC metro area.</li><li>Developing a comprehensive understanding of Parity’s service offerings and value proposition&nbsp;</li><li>Developing and maintaining strong customer relationships</li><li>Conducting sales presentations to key personnel including property managers, board members, and other consultants</li><li>Effectively positioning Parity’s unique value proposition utilizing financial metrics, consultative customer engagement, market positioning, domain expertise, and other means</li><li>Working closely with Parity's engineers to develop proposals&nbsp;</li><li>Developing and maintaining a sales pipeline through cold calling, networking, taking over existing accounts, and other means</li><li>Participating in industry events to represent Parity and grow the company’s presence in the market</li><li>Contributing to the ongoing development of Parity’s service offerings, company strategy, and market positioning</li><li>Coordinating with the marketing team on campaigns and other demand-generation activities</li><li>Establishing partnerships that enhance business development efforts&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;</li><li>Promoting and expanding Parity’s brand awareness in the NYC hospitality sector</li><li>Working closely with our marketing team to develop collateral and outreach campaigns</li><li>Meeting and exceeding sales goals</li></ul>&nbsp;QUALIFICATIONS:<ul><li>Passion for transformative technology and clean energy</li><li>5+ years of professional sales experience within the hotel industry</li><li>Experience in the NYC market&nbsp;</li><li>Located within commuting distance of Parity’s Midtown Manhattan Office</li><li>Background in HVAC, building automation, energy systems, property technology or real estate</li><li>Proven track record of being a top sales performer</li><li>Proven experience closing new business using strategic value-based selling</li><li>Excellent interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills</li><li>Ability to work in a fast-paced environment</li></ul>&nbsp;WHY JOIN US?Join our organization in a key role during a period of tremendous growth and directly contribute to its future success.
