You will work closely with cross-functional teams to identify areas for improvement, implement process optimization strategies, and foster a culture of continuous improvement. As a CI Specialist you will play a critical role in driving efficiency, productivity, and cost savings across our organization. Principal responsibilities:<ul><li>Design and execute a comprehensive continuous improvement strategy for transactional processes for the region of competence, aligned with the company's overall objectives and goals;</li></ul><ul><li>Identify opportunities for process improvement across transactional functions, such as sales, marketing, customer service, product management, supply chain, Commercial functions logistics, finance, and customer service; </li><li>Constantly seek, share and implement best practices among all CI teams in all Xylem businesses of the Region and segment of Competence; </li><li>Deliver breakthrough levels of improvement in transactional processes eliminating waste and guaranteeing sound project implementation (focus on 80/20); </li><li>Serve on the business unit leadership team and communicate team accomplishments and achievement of financial goals;  </li><li>Direct and oversee continuous improvement projects, ensuring effective project planning, execution, and monitoring;</li><li>Apply end to end transactional Lean methodologies and other process improvement techniques to analyze existing processes, identify root causes of inefficiencies, and develop solutions;</li><li>Drive the implementation of best practices and standardization initiatives to streamline processes, reduce waste, and optimize resource allocation; </li><li>Provide Leadership and Guidance;</li><li>Foster a culture of continuous improvement by promoting employee engagement, providing training opportunities, and recognizing and rewarding achievements. </li></ul>Minimun Requirements:   <ul><li>8+ years’ business experience in global/international company in CI/Opex/Manufacturing function</li><li>Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience in functional area of expertise </li><li>Demonstrated success in leading significant changes in large organizations focusing on continuous improvement in transactional processes. </li><li>Proven Continuous improvement/lean and six sigma expertise in various business areas (both manufacturing and transactional areas) </li><li>Experience of leading multiple, large size international projects in different locations </li><li>Proven track record of lean implementation and leading kaizen events </li><li>Remote kaizen event facilitation skills</li></ul>Other Requirements:<ul><li>Ability to drive hands on execution in the business and strategic thinking with top leaders </li><li>Proficiency in coaching, change management </li><li>Strong interpersonal and leadership skills; strong verbal and communication skills </li><li>Excellent overall business acumen</li></ul>Soft Skills:<ul><li>Strong verbal and communication skills at all levels of the organization – especially with top leaders.</li><li>Strategic thinking.</li><li>Problem solving.</li><li>Organizational skills.</li><li>Proactivity.</li><li>Ability to simplify and clarify complex and ambiguous problems.</li></ul>Travel: 50% across the regionCertification: Lean Certification, Green belt or black beltLanguage: English written and spoken – any other language will be considered a plusLocation: Montecchio Maggiore (VI) or Lainate (MI)Contract: permanent, full-timeBenefits: company bonus and company canteenJoin the global Xylem team to be a part of innovative technology solutions transforming water usage, conservation, and re-use.
