You’ll be an instrumental part of a growing retail brand!  Working closely with the Consumer Products leadership team you’ll play a key role in implementing the global retail sales strategy. As the eCommerce Manager you will collaborate across the organization to develop and implement Bird’s ecommerce strategy.  Leading the direct to consumer shop you’ll develop digital sales and marketing strategies to achieve sales objectives.  You’ll also be instrumental in managing Bird’s brand presence across global retail partner sites.

What You’ll Do

  • Manage all Bird digital sales channels including but not limited to: Direct to Consumer Sales, Third Party, Affiliate, Distributor, and Retailer partner digital sales
  • Work collaboratively and cross-functionally to manage eCommerce projects and timelines. Manage internal relationships across design, marketing, product, and engineering to deliver content and objectives.
  • Develop new strategies and initiatives to grow digital sales including site enhancements, digital content, promotional effectiveness, acquisition strategies, etc. 
  • Partner with marketing to manage and leverage third-party/vendor relationships. 
  • Manage all projects associated with Bird Shop and lead all meetings, status updates, Document SOWs, meeting notes, weekly status, and project timeline and tracking updates.
  • Build/update reporting tools and dashboards that enable real time visibility as well as facilitate set reporting cadences to stakeholders 
  • Define the best practices for Bird’s digital footprint to ensure the brand is protected at all times, that all new products meet/exceed brand and partner expectations, and Bird’s pricing integrity is constantly monitored.
  • Develop benchmarking that gauges Bird’s digital performance KPI’s against the broad market, direct product market(s), and defined competitive set.  
  • Lead digital portion of all planning cycles including monthly forecast, quarterly business reviews, annual plan, and long range plan focused on results as well as expense planning related to site enhancements and ongoing management
  • Collaborate with marketing to manage the creative development process (creative briefs, creative reviews, shot lists) across all devices/platforms for owned assets and prioritize projects to meet business objectives. 

What You’ll Need

  • 3-5 years experience managing and/or working with web, mobile, and digital technologies
  • 2-5 years experience leading ecommerce and site/mobile for large retailer or consumer products organization or in support of a consumer products organization 
  • Strong written and verbal communication, and interpersonal skills with an ability to communicate effortlessly as needed with key accounts and partners.  
  • Experience building, implementing, and assessing effectiveness of digital strategies across multiple digital platforms and customer engagements
  • Understanding of how to maximize ad spend and 
  • A positive attitude, a sense of curiosity, loves being part of a team, invested in an inclusive culture, is curious and possesses a strong bias for action 
  • Experience working with major national omnichannel retail chains, regional chains, and other unique retail outlets.
  • Highly comfortable with data, analytics, large data sets, and ability to synthesize data into insights
  • Detail-oriented, organized, and the ability to manage multiple projects at the same time in a fast-paced dynamic environment.
  • Highly proficient with technology and various software tools including knowledge of Google GSuite, Salesforce/CRM tools, Shopify, retailer portals/services, data sources, and eCommerce reporting and analytics tools
  • Bachelor's degree in relevant field
