Job Summary 

You’ll be an integral part of a growing retail brand!  Working closely with the Consumer Products team and partners, you’ll be responsible for managing all aspects of the sales process.  As the Sales Coordinator you will collaborate with a wide range of stakeholders from internal partners to major retail customers and distributors.  You’ll be instrumental in managing the details of inventory receiving, movement, and transactions.  As a critical member of the Consumer Product team you will facilitate sales transactions and ensure compliance with best practices in order for the company to achieve sales goals.  You will also have the opportunity to develop new best methods, reporting, and processes to support a growth business.

The ideal candidate will have advanced organizational skills, the ability to multitask, and experience with analytics.  You’ll bring an energetic approach and a drive towards efficiency in support of the global consumer products team.  You’ll ensure Bird’s customer commitments are met on time and pertinent details are accurately captured.

Responsibilities

  • Manage business critical processes around inventory management, invoicing, sales transactions, account best methods necessary to process sales to customers.
  • Collaborate with the CP team to ensure timely sales and inventory reporting, sales lead  updates, and progress updates on current, future, and potential orders. 
  • Partner with the sales team to develop sales assets and materials
  • Provide critical support to all sales activities including ensuring the team is ready to present to major customers, partners, and other stakeholders 
  • Participate in the preparation and execution of trade shows, customer events, and other activations necessary to support the organization
  • Maintain and manage inventory of sales assets and sales samples
  • Participate in the identification of new business opportunities
  • Leverage CRM software to optimize sales tracking, leads, and other sales needs  
  • Engaged in all processes surrounding sales, orders, and inventory movement  
  • Engage with multiple levels with partner, client, and customer organizations 
  • Collaborate with multiple internal stakeholders to ensure orders ship on time and complete in accordance with partner requirements.  Deliver on all levels of service requirements.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited university 
  • 2+ years experience in sales, operations, or customer service 
  • Experience working with major national omnichannel retail chains, regional chains, and other unique retail outlets. 
  • A positive attitude, a sense of curiosity, loves being part of a team, invested in an inclusive culture, is curious and possesses a strong bias for action 
  • Comfortable leveraging data and reporting to monitor progress, processes, and ensure visible goal tracking
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills with an ability to communicate across levels internally and externally.  Comfortable presenting in person and electronically in support of the sales team.
  • Customer and client focused with experience in customer facing roles
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft/Google Suite
  • Prior experience working with CRM and GL software (Salesforce, Netsuite, etc.)
  • Ability to quickly learn and understand new systems and processes
  • Comfortable working in a fast pace environment with multiple cross functional teams
