<p>AECOM is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Resident Engineer - Infrastructure to join our team in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates. As a key member of our infrastructure projects division, you will be responsible for overseeing large-scale infrastructure projects, ensuring they are completed to the highest standards of quality, safety, and efficiency.</p><ul><li>Supervise and coordinate all on-site construction activities, ensuring compliance with project plans, specifications, and contract documents</li><li>Monitor project progress and prepare detailed reports on work force, equipment, safety, and overall project status</li><li>Conduct regular inspections of workmanship and materials to maintain quality control standards</li><li>Coordinate with clients, contractors, and other stakeholders to resolve technical issues and ensure project goals are met</li><li>Review and approve shop drawings, material submittals, and change orders</li><li>Manage and mentor a team of engineers and technicians, fostering a collaborative and efficient work environment</li><li>Oversee soil and materials testing according to contract specifications and local regulations</li><li>Evaluate and process progress payments, variation orders, and time extension requests</li><li>Implement and monitor site safety protocols, ensuring compliance with local and international standards</li><li>Prepare comprehensive monthly reports detailing project progress, challenges, and solutions</li><li>Collaborate with project managers to develop and implement strategies for improving project efficiency and cost-effectiveness</li></ul>
